11-3/4″ (30.0 cm)?Smithwick Nerve Hook and Dissector is a multi functioning instrument well suited for use in neurosurgical procedures such as spinal surgery or craniotomies. This instrument is double ended and on one end features a nerve hook and on the other a dissector. The nerve hook end features a slightly acute turn that can be used to retract nerves or other delicate tissue during surgery. Additionally the opposing end is equipped with a blunt dissector that can be used in general exploration without causing injury or bruising to surrounding delicate tissue areas.
